Via Confluence Administration
The plugin app is available at the Atlassian Marketplace. To install the pluginapp, log in into your Confluence as a system administrator and navigate to the global administration (Browse > Confluence Admin). Enter the Add-ons section and navigate to the "Install"-Tab". Search "Find New Add-ons" tab of the Universal Plugin Manager (UPM) in the global administration. There you simply search for "Accessibility for Confluence" and press "Install".
If the installation was successful, a new item should appear in the "Look and Feel" section of the system administration, called "CUTE". All settings of the theming extension are configured at this place. If this link is not visible, please ensure that all required modules of the plugin are enabled. You can do this by clicking "Manage Plugins" in the global administration and selecting the "CUTE". The module "Cute Empty Dashboard" might only be enabled if you intend to replace the Confluence system dashboard with own extensions. Otherwise you may wish to leave this disabled.
Before installing by You can find the UPM via the menu entry "Find new add-ons" or similar. For more details about the UPM please refer to the documentation provided by Atlassian.
Via File Upload
If you decide to download the app in the Atlassian Marketplace and install via file upload, make sure that the add-on app distribution file that you want to upload is accessible to your computer either at a file system location or at a network location by URL.
To upload an add-onapp:
- From the application's administration console, click the Manage add-ons link.
- Click the Upload add-on link at the top right side of the page.
The following dialog appears.
- Enter the location of the JAR or OBR file to upload using the file chooser or by specifying a network location by entering a URL.
- Click Upload.
A confirmation message appears when the add-on is successfully installed. - If prompted, restart your application to have your change take effect.
You can now manage the add-on app from the user-installed add-on app list on the Manage add-ons page.
Check your Installation
If the add-on app is successfully installed, you should see the following entry on the page:
