Installation Guide

You need to deploy the package that was generated to the App Catalog.

Note

If you cannot find the App Catalog you have to create the App Catalog site collection first.

1. Go to the App Catalog.

2. Upload or drag and drop the .sppkg to the App Catalog.

Add the web part solution file (click to enlarge)

3. This will deploy the client-side solution package. Since this is a full trust client-side solution, SharePoint will display a dialog and ask you to trust the client-side solution to deploy.

Confirm deployment (click to enlarge)

4. Choose Deploy.

Note

If the check mark "Make this solution available to all sites in the organization" is set when deploying the package, it is no longer necessary to add the app per SiteCollection.  In that case, the webparts will already be available.

Add app to site collection

Navigate to the site collection you want to place the Confluence Page web part on.

Go to the home page of your site collection. Click on 'New' in the edit bar and select 'App'.

Add the Confluence Page Embedder app to the site collection (click to enlarge)

Select the 'Confluence Page Embedder ' app by clicking on it. The app will be added.

Add the Confluence Page Embedder app to the site collection (click to enlarge)

Whitelist Confluence Cloud domain

To be able to see Confluence Page in SharePoint you have to allow the Confluence domain.

Note

You need SharePoint Administrator permissions for this step.

  1. Go to Site settings of your SiteCollection. Navigate to HTML Field Security under "Site Collection Administration" area:

In this page you have to add the Confluence Cloud domain otherwise the Confluence Pages will not be visible.
