Basically you can use the User Profile Plugin with Crowd, but there is a catch: The synchronization feature of the User Profile Plugin does only support directly connected LDAP-based directories, like Active Directory.
So, what will work?
- You can add new profile elements.
- Fields can be /wiki/spaces/upp/pages/9414235.
/wiki/spaces/upp/pages/9414235 within Confluence.
- Use the User Profile Plugin /wiki/spaces/upp/pages/9414235.
And what won't?
- Synchronizing data from any directory which is connected via Crowd.
