Basically you can use the User Profile Plugin with Crowd, but there is a catch: The synchronization feature of the User Profile Plugin does only support LDAP-based directories, like Active Directory.

So, what will work?

• You can add new profile elements.
• Fields can be /wiki/spaces/upp/pages/9414235.

• /wiki/spaces/upp/pages/9414235 within Confluence.

• Use the User Profile Plugin /wiki/spaces/upp/pages/9414235.

And what won't?

• Synchronizing data from any directory which is connected via Crowd.
