Comment Aggregation (v 3.0)

What is the Macro Used for?

The macro is used to summarize the comments and inline comments on your processes clearly.

All comments and inline comments for the process and sub processes are taken into account. To make work easier, edited comments can be marked as "resolved".

Resolve Comments

User information

For normal Confluence comments on a page (i.e. those which are not inline comments) the status "resolved" is only visible in the macro. The comment on the source page is not showing this information.

You can use the Resolve action of a comment shown in the macro to mark it as resolved.

The status badge will be updated accordingly and the action will change from Resolve to Unresolve. This allows you to undo your change and mark the comment as still open and not yet resolved. To hide the manually resolved comments from the result list, you can use the Reload button or refresh the page.

When clicking on the link next to the icon you will be sent to the original comment. This way you have quick access to the normal operations like editing, deleting or replying.

Resolve Inline Comments

The macro handles Confluence inline comments the same way as the normal page comments. However, you can also resolve the inline comment directly on the source page. The macro will reflect this change when it is refreshed.
