Installing the Add-on

The add-on is available on the Atlassian Marketplace. To install the add-on, log in as a system administrator and navigate to the Jira settings (cog icon > Apps). In the menu on the left, click the “Find new apps” link and search for “User Profiles for Jira”. After you have found our app just click on it and afterwards click on the “Try it free” button to add it to your Jira instance.

As soon as the installation was successful, a new section named “User Profiles” should appear on the left sidebar, containing a “User Profiles configuration” link. This is where the configuration of our User Profiles app takes place.

Next Steps

For your users to work with User Profiles for Jira, you need to:

  1. Configure the Microsoft connection and consent the necessary permissions

  2. Configure custom fields in order to Use information from Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) on Jira issues
