Introduction

The Space Navigator contains all digital Spaces of a company and displays them as single "Space Cards" in the main part of the webpart in SharePoint Online. Here all Spaces are included, showing the total number of Spaces in brackets. By default no filters are active.

  1. The Space Navigator offers the possibilty to search and filter for existing Spaces - see Filter Spaces.
  2. The user can explore all Spaces, find relevant ones and enter a Space via different icons representing the assigned tool ecosystems (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Teams or SharePoint) - see Access Spaces.
  3. Every Space can provide more detailed information like metadata and keywords. They are available in the right pane by clicking "Details" in the Space Card - see Space Details.

Pin and unpin Spaces

SINCE VERSION 1.1

Each user is able to pin and unpin Spaces using the pinning button on the top right position of the Space Card. The pinning is done in the scope of the current user so each user will have his own pinned Spaces. Pinned Spaces will always be displayed on top of your Space results to make it easier for you to access these Spaces.

Clicking the pin button on an unpinned Space will pin the Space. If the Space is already pinned you can unpin the Space using the same button.

Sorting and Filtering will also affect the pinned Spaces that are shown.
