In the following table, you can find possible error messages, reasons, and instructions to solve the problem.

This initial loading process can take a while, so enjoy your coffee or tea break. | We are currently collecting all links from your channel to initialize the app. | Please wait until finished. The duration depends on your channel size and could take some hours. Please don't delete the app and add it to the channel again, because then the process would start again. | |
2 | Â | Your channel seems to be a really huge one. The initialization process is still ongoing. Please press the refresh button of the tab to get informed when the process is finished. | We are currently collecting all links from your channel to initialize the app. We will not request the status of the process anymore, because it runs very long. | Please wait until finished. If you want to see the current status of the process press the refresh button of the tab in the right upper corner of teams. You can also close the window and open it later again because the process continues on our servers. The duration depends on your channel size and could take some hours. Please do not delete the app and add it to the channel again, because then the process would start again. |
3 | An error occured while trying to get your links. Please try to press the refresh button of the tab. If this does not help you could first try to remove and readd the app to the channel. If the problem persists, feel free to report us the problem: Report a bug. | There are multiple reasons why this error could occur. Mostly because your administrator removed the permissions of the app or there is a problem with our server. | Please check if the app has the required permissions set To access the channel the app needs permissions to be granted, see details in https://communardo.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/LINK/pages/1018822694/Authentication+Security#Consent-the-app In case the app has already the required permissions, but the app displays still the same error message, remove the app from the channel and add it again. In case the same error still occurs, please contact us using the link to our report form. | |
4 | No data was found for this channel. Link Spotter may have been uninstalled in the meantime. Please remove this tab and contact your administrator. Report a bug. | This error occurs because we don’t find your channel in our backend. This could occur if the channel was deleted from teams and after this restored by your administrator. | Please remove the app from the channel and add it again. In case the same error still occurs, please contact us using the link to our report form. |
