SharePoint Server (on-premise) Installation (v 1.10)

To install the SharePoint Connector for Confluence, go through the pages in order, if not otherwise indicated on the page.

Prerequisites for Administration

• All communication between Confluence and SharePoint is done by the client of the end user (i.e. browser). A direct connection between the two servers is not necessary. In order to use this app, the user therefore needs to have access to both systems with the browser running on the local machine. The same principle applies to the administration and the initial setup.
• SharePoint and Confluence must be accessed via HTTPS (SSL).

• Office Online Server has to be deployed and configured for the SharePoint Server

• Check that all SharePoint add-in prerequisites are met

Prerequisites for searching documents and lists from Confluence macros

The logged in users should have at least read access to the SharePoint site collection in order to perform search queries on the SharePoint List and Document macro configuration

Precondition: Set up CORS

• As local administrator on the SharePoint WFE (Web Front End) server
  • Install URL Rewrite Module for IIS (v 1.10)
  • Configure CORS for SharePoint Server (v 1.10)

Install and configure Confluence app

• As Confluence Admin 
  
  • Confluence: Install and Configure App (v 1.10)

Get and install the SharePoint Add-in package

• As Confluence Admin
  • Confluence: Download SharePoint Add-in Package (v 1.10)
• As SharePoint Admin
  
  • SharePoint: Deploy Add-in package to the App Catalog (v 1.7) 
• As SharePoint Site Owner
  • SharePoint: Test that the Add-in can be Added to a Site (v 1.10)
