SharePoint Connector 1.6 Release Notes (v 1.7)
September 2012
Atlassian is proud to present the Confluence SharePoint Connector 1.6.This release adds support for Confluence 4.2 and Confluence 4.3 and also provides a number of new web parts and UI improvements to existing web parts.
Highlights of this release:
Â
New Space List Web Part
The new Space List web part now lets you display a list of Confluence spaces inside your SharePoint site. Users viewing the space list macro can:
- Show spaces within a specific space category;
- Filter the list of displayed spaces by typing in the search field;
- Choose to watch or unwatch a space from the space list macro; and
- Choose to add or remove spaces from your favourite spaces list
The new Space List web part also supports web part connections so you can connect it to the Page, Page List, Blog or Blog List web parts. Now your users can navigate through your entire Confluence site without ever leaving SharePoint!

Â
New Recently Updated Web Part
The new Recently Updated web part lets you display an activity stream from your Confluence site within your SharePoint site. Users viewing the Recently Updated web part can:
- View activity from all spaces or just a given space.
- Filter on activity by one or more Confluence users.
With this new web part, your SharePoint users will always know what's happening inside your Confluence site.
Just like the new Space List web part, the new Recently Updated web part also supports web part connections, so that it can dynamically interact with your other web parts. Â

User Interface Improvements
We've renamed of our existing web parts to improve the way they appear inside SharePoint. For example, "Confluence Blog Post Tree View Web Part" is now called "Confluence Blog List."
We've updated all the web part icons to match the new icons introduced in Confluence 4.1.
                                                                                              Â
- The Blog List view is now displayed in a proper calendar view rather than in a tree view.
- When displaying comments in page & blog web parts, we show the profile picture of the user who added the comment.
See our comprehensive guide to the full set of features available in the Confluence Web Parts for SharePoint -Â Using the SharePoint 2010 Web Parts.
