Metadata for Confluence Cloud data residency information

This page contains information about data residency for the Metadata for Confluence Cloud app. The Metadata for Confluence Cloud app currently stores 2 kinds of data:

Application Data

The storage of the actual application data. This includes the configuration (for example, the defined Content Categories and their Metadata fields) and the actual Metadata values. This data is stored entirely in the core application, that is, in your Confluence Cloud instance. So, this data is stored where your Confluence Cloud instance is hosted.

Please refer to Atlassian's documentation for more details: Data Residency: Manage Where Your Data is Hosted | Atlassian

Supplementary Data

Supplemental data about the Confluence instances that have the app installed.

This data is stored outside the core application in a database of a data center located in the Netherlands (European Union).
