The out-of-office feature has been transferred to a dedicated new app with enhanced capabilities: Out of Office Sync for Jira and Microsoft.
If you want to keep using this feature, please contact your Jira admin. They will find more information in the admin area under “User Profiles configuration”.

This feature allows Jira users to view the out-of-office status (automatic reply) of an assignee directly when assigning a new user to a specific issue. Once the assigning process is complete, a flag will pop up in the issue view indicating that the new assignee has an out-of-office status, if so.
This information includes the scheduled out-of-office status (automatic reply) on the Outlook calendar of the new assignee and it has two distinct states:
the new assignee has scheduled an out-of-office status (automatic reply) with no return date
the new assignee has scheduled an out-of-office status (automatic reply) with a return date
The availability of this information immediately after changing the assignee can significantly reduce the likelihood of missed deadlines and enable teams to promptly address any potential delays. By having this information at hand, teams can make informed decisions and ensure that tasks are assigned to the appropriate person at the right time, thereby promoting efficient and effective workflow.
